Every dollar donated to Safe and Sound With Amaya goes directly towards creating awareness and education for parents (young and old), babysitters, caretakers - anyone responsible for the safety and well being of toddlers and young children. How will we do this?
Our goal is to get brochures with important child safety information, for in and around the home, into every pediatrician's office; child advocate's office; realtor's office; family community centers; grocery stores; pharmacies; home improvement centers - basically, anywhere a parent or guardian can get their hands on this necessary, critical information.
We attend home improvement and family trade shows across the country with our message. We speak to parent and community groups on a regular basis. We hand out FREE anti-tip straps!
We hand out safety straps, free of charge, to anyone who needs one. We will help any parent or family who desires to secure their surroundings, but may not have the resources to do so, get their hands on what they need.
We will not stop - EVER - until we have reached every single parent, guardian and caretaker with our message. What is our message? Be ever and always watchful and diligent with your children. Be overly cautious. Be obsessed with safety. Take one eye off of them to do something, but keep the other eye on them while you're doing it. Let's keep our kids Safe and Sound!
